Each member of the group presents the subject, activities and main processes of his/ her company. The team chooses one company and documents the Occupational Health and Safety Policy according to OHSAS 18001 Requirements . 17:15 Hrs Hazard identification and risk assessment exercise Working in groups, the delegates will be given a scenario and will be asked to carry out an exercise on the identification of occupational hazards in order to do the risk assessment. 19:00 Hrs Day Review. 19:15 Hrs End of Day 1 test. 19:30 Hrs End of Day 1.

08:30 Hrs Review of Day 1 test results. 08:45 Hrs Analysis of OHSAS 18001 (Cont.). 10:15 Hrs Break 10:30 Hrs Analysis of OHSAS 18001 (Cont.). 12:00 Hrs Team Exercise: Documentation of OHSAS 18001 Requirements Delegates will work in groups and will be asked to identify documentation (records, forms, documents and procedures) which is required to verify compliance with OHSAS 18001 clauses. 13:00 Hrs Lunch 13:45 Hrs Occupational Health and Safety Documentation (OHSAS) The tutor presents the different categories of documents which belong to Occupational Health and Safety Management System Documentation. 14:00 Hrs OHSAS Audit preparation Presentation of ISO 19011 requirements according to the preparation and planning of OHSAS audit. 15:15 Hrs Break 15:30 Hrs OHSAS Audit preparation (cont). Presentation of ISO 19011 requirements according to the preparation and planning of OHSAS audit. 16:30 Hrs Team Exercise: Document Review The delegates will be given procedures and will be required to review the procedures for compliance with OHSAS 18001 standard. Delegates will be asked to identify which OHSAS 18001 requirements Health and Safety Procedures are satisfied and which requirements are not satisfied. The delegates will be asked to define which information is required in order to ensure the compliance with OHSAS 18001 and Health and Safety requirements. 17:30 Hrs Exercise : Audit Preparation . Every delegate will be given a scenario and will be asked to define key – points which will be examined further, during performing the audit. 19:00 Hrs Day Review. 19:15 Hrs End of Day 2 test. 19:30 Hrs End of Day 2.
Day 3
08:30 Hrs Review of Day 2 test results 08:45 Hrs Team exercise : Audit Program Delegates will work in groups. Each delegate will be asked to describe his/ her company's subject, activities and main processes. The team will be asked to choose one company and document the audit plan, based on: a. The information about the company. b. OHSAS 18001 requirements. c. ISO 19011 requirements. 10:15 Hrs Break 10:30 Hrs Team exercise: Objective Evidence Delegates will work in groups, will be given a scenario and will be required to define the objective evidence, that they will ask to see during the audit performance, in order to ensure the compliance with specific clauses of OHSAS 18001. The tutor will define the clauses for each team. 12:30 Hrs Occupational health and Safety Management System Audit Performance. Presentation of ISO 19011 requirements on how to perform an audit. 13:00 Hrs Lunch 13:45 Hrs Occupational health and Safety Management System Audit Performance. ( cont ). 15:15 Hrs Break 15:30 Hrs Auditor's Roles and Responsibilities Presentation of the requirement of ISO 19011 standard, regarding the Role and Responsibilities of an Auditor. 16:00 Hrs Exercise : Audit Responsibilities and Roles The delegates will be asked to define the sequence of audit process stages and the roles and responsibilities of each stage. 16:45 Hrs Team exercise: Identification of “good and bad” audit practices. Working in groups, delegates will role play the case study scenario and make comment on the technique, planning and conduct of the audit. 18:00 Hrs Team exercise: Identification of “good and bad” audit practices - Feedback Delegates will present their findings. 18:45 Hrs Day Review. 19:15 Hrs End of Day 3 test. 19:30 Hrs End of Day 3.
Day 4
08:30 Hrs Review of Day 3 test results. 08:45 Hrs Documentation of audit report The tutor explains how an audit report will be documented including non – conformity report, categorization of non- conformity, audit findings documentation, corrective action assessment. 09:45 Hrs Exercise: Categorization of Non-Conformity. The delegates will be asked to categorize non-conformities. 10:15 Hrs Break 10:30 Hrs Exercise: Categorization of Non Conformity - Feedback 11:00 Hrs Exercise: Non Conformity – Observation Report Delegates will be given a series of scenarios and will be asked to identify potential nonconformities or observations against the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and document their findings in a written report. 12:15 Hrs Team exercise: «Performing an audit». Delegates will work in groups and will be asked to identify potential non conforming areas within the case study (against the requirements of OHSAS 18001), and document their findings in a written report. They will be asked to present their findings during the “closing meeting” of the audit. 13:00 Hrs Lunch 13:45 Hrs Team exercise: «Performing an audit» (Cont) 14:30 Hrs Team exercise: «Performing an audit» - Feedback: «Closing meeting». 15:15 Hrs Break 15:30 Hrs Exercise: Definition of Corrective Actions. The delegates will be asked to define the appropriate corrective actions in order to close non-conformities. 16:15 Hrs Review of the specimen examination paper Discussion with the delegates about the specimen examination paper and presentation of final exam requirements. 18:30 Hrs End of Day 4 test. 18:45 Hrs Discussion with tutors.
