QUALITY CONSULTANTS COURSE

 

This training course is intended for Consultants who design, develop and implement Quality Management Systems of various sectors and organizations. The approved Certificate of successful completion and the opportunity to register with International Personnel Certification Bodies constitute a professional tool in seeking employment. Applicants may be private individuals or company executives coming from a wide range of business sectors and company levels. Knowledge of the ISO 9001:2000 standard and the responsibilities of a Quality Manager is a prerequisite.

 

The course initially focuses on the analysis of the requirements and guidelines of the ISO 10019:2004 standard, followed by a presentation of various techniques for designing, implementing, monitoring and improving a Quality Management System. Practical exercises assist delegates in getting familiar with the specialized knowledge and competence Consultants must possess, such as quality management principles, continual improvement tools, statistical methods, quality costs, etc. The final written examination provides delegates with an approved certificate, awarded by the most prestigious international personnel certification bodies.

 

Having completed this training course, delegates shall be able to provide services according to the ISO 10019:2004 standard; design, develop and implement Quality Management Systems; design and implement Quality Improvement Plans; audit and effectively monitor the implementation of a Quality Management System.

08:45 a.m. Introduction Presentation of instructors and delegates. Presentation of the course, scope and object. Definitions of fundamental terminology and concepts, categories and types of Consultants, the need for Consultants, their role, certification of Consultants, presentation of the fundamental principles of the ISO 10019 standard.

15:45 p.m. Group Exercise: Tender Delegates are separated into groups. The instructor presents the scenarios of different companies who are seeking to recruit a consultant. Playing the part of the managing director of each company, the instructor interviews the groups of delegates, offering them information on his/ her company. The group then has to produce a consulting services tender according to the requirements of the ISO 10019. Each group must appoint a leader who shall present the tender .

09:15 a.m. Specialized knowledge an competence requirements for Consultants Presentation of the ISO 10019 requirements regarding the specialized knowledge required of Consultants in quality management principles issues, continual improvement tools, statistical methods, quality costs, the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, the development of process mapping policies, problem-solving, monitoring customer satisfaction and brain-storming.

12:00 p.m. Quality tools The instructor selects a quality problem per group. Each group has to solve this problem, using quality tools that are defined by the instructor.

15:00 p.m. Presentation of Quality tools exercise findings.

15:45 p.m. Group Exercise: Designing a QMS Delegates must compile selected procedures for an imaginary QMS, using the process approach.

16:45 p.m. Presentation of the design of a QMS exercise

17:30 p.m. Certification of professionals Presentation of national and international personnel certification schemes and IPC personnel certification regulations.
